The Clay Pot Report - 2012 and Spring is Coming!

We have had a great start to the year! We've been busy busy at the studio with new ideas, projects, and have launched a few nitty gritties for you all to enjoy!

Studio Happenings...

We have lots of new and fabulous projects we are and have been working on! We are buzzing around trying to get it all done, but it is a wonderful thing to see our ideas come to life and move forward to bring more creative options to you!

  • Experiences - We have two experiences The Wheel Experience and Handbuilding Experience and both are $30.00 and give you a taste of working with clay. Our new Handbuilding Experience addds a touch of whimsy to our studio with select projects anyone can walk-in and learn how to make from seasonal decorative items to fun kid friendly owls.
  • New Clay Pot Collections - We have just started creating and displaying our collections and will feature them throughout the year! We currently have Turtles on display. These are handmade and unique items, finished, and ready to take home! We'll have more collections on display soon!
  • Online Store ((COMING SOON)) - We are in the process of opening up our studio to online ordering and will be offering select products online, some will be made to order from our newest collections. Stay tuned for more news!

Gift Ideas

Gift Certificates - This is not only a perfect gift, but can be used for gift shopping at our gift shop that has professionally made creations. Or sign up for the Wheel Experience and let your special someone get a taste of throwing on the wheel. Or sign up for a block of lessons! From student Jacquie: "I came to the Clay Pot because my boyfriend got me a gift certificate for my birthday. It was the perfect gift and quite exciting! I suggest this to anyone as I was able to cash in my certificate for one block of lessons months after I received it as a gift."

Custom Gifts - Handmade items are always special and just because you didn't throw it on the wheel and create a piece does not mean it is not a special piece. We always offer walk-in painting, which means anyone can come into our studio, pick a handmade piece, and glaze that item for firing. This is a custom piece for you and a perfect gift all year around!

Spring is Coming - We have our wonderful spring inspired items starting to fill the shelves. From butterflies to vases, we have plenty for you to explore!
